ADMISSIONS POLICY
It is the policy of the Walworth County Care Center (WCCC) to admit and treat all residents without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, age, sex, handicap, and religion or payment source. The same requirements for admission are applied to all, and residents are assigned within the facility without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, age, sex, handicap, and religion or payment source. There is no distinction in eligibility for or in the manner of, providing resident service provided by or through the facility. All departments of the facility are available without distinction to all residents and visitors regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, age, sex, handicap, religion, or payment source. All persons and organizations that have occasion either to refer residents for admission or recommend WCCC are advised to do so without regard to the residents’ race, color, creed, national origin, age, sex, handicap, religion, or payment source.
As an incoming resident to the Walworth County Care Center, if you have not received a tuberculosis (TB) test, you will be required to do so after admission to our facility.
ADMISSION
To be admitted to the Walworth County Care Center (WCCC), each resident must have a physical no more than 5 days prior to admission or 2 days following admission to the Walworth County Care Center. Upon a physician’s order, therapies (physical, occupational, speech) will do an evaluation of the resident.

What to Bring
WCCC recommends that all clothing be made of machine washable, permanent-press material. Any dry-cleaning costs must be paid by the resident. WCCC shall not be responsible for non-washable items, and although all precautions will be taken to prevent damage, we cannot assume responsibility for clothing that is not machine washable.
WCCC recommends 5-7 changes of clothing (dresses, slacks, shirts, blouses, underclothes, stockings, etc.), 1-2 pairs of good fitting, non-slip shoes and slippers, one bath robe, 2-3 pairs of pajamas, a heavy coat, a light jacket, etc.
It is recommended that male residents have their own electric razors. Female residents should bring their own combs, hair picks, make up, and fingernail polish for Feeling Good Group.
